On a rainy day, that's a great spot to enjoy dinner with a date. Also, the India House, at the corner of the block, is another favorite.

A downtown life in Portland is pretty sweet if you ask me.

Cheers!Robhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01524049424919108861noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-32213247.post-22010347501412462032007-08-22T20:31:00.000-07:002007-08-22T20:31:00.000-07:00Thanks for your comment. How did you fare during the rainy weather? We didn't mind it one bit ourselves.Lynettehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05092690457095379968noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-32213247.post-65745874612070005202007-08-22T20:04:00.000-07:002007-08-22T20:04:00.000-07:00Hey,I'm a fellow Mississippian that moved here las...Hey,
I'm a fellow Mississippian that moved here last summer to. Having just moved up here last June from Mississippi where we only ate outside on the occasional summer holiday or once in a while in the early, early evening so as to avoid mosquitos, we thoroughly enjoy a outdoor meal at several restaurants near our apartment. I especially am impressed by the foresight of the sidewalk-designers, to make them so wide probably years before folks started putting tables and chairs out front.Lynettehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05092690457095379968noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-32213247.post-8080469416352682802007-08-20T21:08:00.000-07:002007-08-20T21:08:00.000-07:00Awhile back I was in Portland for a training, I th...Awhile back I was in Portland for a training, I think around Broadway and Salmon. One thing I noticed was that all the restaurants in the area had outdoor seating, mostly right out on the sidewalk. I think it was interesting. Its not something we see in Roseburg.

You'd have to hang around a long time to try all the restaurants just on that one block :)Faye Pekashttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06176788826303435577noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-32213247.post-71258541684105996432007-08-19T18:06:00.000-07:002007-08-19T18:06:00.000-07:00Thanks for the information.
