Three More from Cars in the Park, Hot Rods & Customs, Saturday, August 20

Milton and I walked along the streets, enjoying the cars. I went much more slowly, of course, because I can't resist taking one more photo after another. Kay enjoyed herself sitting in the sunshine on a park bench. She watched people, too, always a fun way to spend some time in Portland. 1919 Dodge Roadster, blown flathead Cadillac DSC_0141p DSC_0142p DSC_0146p 1954 Buick Century Convertible DSC_0205p DSC_0211p DSC_0202 DSC_0203 DSC_0207 DSC_0209 DSC_0208 DSC_0210 1939 Ford Coupe, built as a custom & race car in the '50's--on display beside the car, giant versions of a couple of magazine articles from 1953 and 1954, telling all about when this car ran at Bonneville Nationals, going 126.58 mph in 1953 and running 121.45 mph in 1954.
