Donna was in Portland on an AAN board member trip, the last weekend in August. We picked her up at her hotel and rode in the Buick over to Three Doors Down where we ate some scrumptious food and wine while we enjoyed some good company. We got her in the apartment for a few minutes afterwards, before the two of us went off for a quick trip to Powells Books. If you come to Portland, you just about have to go to Powells. Mama and Duncan are at the top of the steps at our front door. This was about two weeks ago, before it got a bit cooler and then started to rain in earnest.
