What can you say? I hope the intended purpose of those who planted these flowers was the kind of reaction I had - an abandoned grin comes over your face at such a sight.

Oh my, how refreshing. Interesting that they put the plants on the brick terrace, in their original planting pots. One way to have a garden on a brick surface, albeit involving lots of watering daily.

Thank you for these lovely pics. I am just about to die to be able to get outside and garden again. Maybe next week. I'll see what the surgeon says tomorrow.

Hope all goes very well at the surgeon's. These potted flowers were an urban meadow temporarily. At the end of a couple of weeks, people had the opportunity to buy any number of plants to take to their homes. I saw some waiting for the bus with small flats of plants in their arms.
